By creating an account, accessing or using GradeARC, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the platform.

1. About GradeARC

GradeARC is an AI-powered revision, tutoring and exam preparation platform designed to support students and professionals preparing for examinations and assessments.

The platform may include:

GradeARC is intended as a supplementary educational aid only.

2. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

GradeARC uses artificial intelligence systems and automated processing technologies.

You acknowledge and agree that:

  • AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies, omissions, outdated information or errors.
  • AI responses may be incomplete, misleading, inappropriate or incorrect.
  • AI-generated explanations, exam answers, revision materials, plagiarism assessments, grading predictions or educational guidance must not be relied upon as authoritative, professional or guaranteed accurate.
  • GradeARC does not guarantee academic performance, exam success, passing grades or educational outcomes.
  • Users are solely responsible for independently verifying all information produced by the platform.

You use the platform entirely at your own risk.

3. No Academic or Professional Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GradeARC, its owners, employees, affiliates and partners accept no responsibility or liability for:

  • Exam failure
  • Poor grades
  • Academic penalties
  • Incorrect answers
  • Missed deadlines
  • Misinterpretation of exam questions
  • Incorrect revision guidance
  • Plagiarism allegations
  • False plagiarism warnings
  • Academic misconduct claims
  • University, school or employer disciplinary action
  • Reliance on AI-generated content
  • Loss of educational opportunity
  • Career or professional consequences arising from platform use

All educational decisions and submissions remain solely the responsibility of the user.

Users must independently verify all work before submission to any educational institution or examination body.

4. No Guarantee of Availability or Accuracy

We do not guarantee that:

  • The platform will always be available
  • The platform will be uninterrupted or error-free
  • Any generated content will be accurate
  • Uploaded files will process correctly
  • AI tools will function consistently
  • Data will never be lost or corrupted

Features, AI models and platform functionality may change at any time without notice.

5. User Responsibilities

You agree:

  • To use GradeARC lawfully and ethically
  • Not to upload unlawful, abusive or malicious content
  • Not to misuse AI-generated content for cheating or academic misconduct
  • Not to attempt to reverse engineer or exploit the platform
  • Not to share accounts or bypass usage limits
  • Not to upload content you do not have rights to use

You remain solely responsible for:

  • All uploaded content
  • All submitted coursework or assessments
  • Compliance with your institution's academic policies
  • Reviewing all AI-generated outputs before use

6. Intellectual Property

All platform branding, software, design, systems and proprietary functionality remain the property of GradeARC unless otherwise stated.

Users retain ownership of their uploaded content but grant GradeARC a limited licence to process, store and analyse uploaded materials solely for operation of the platform.

You may not:

  • Copy the platform
  • Redistribute platform materials
  • Resell platform access
  • Reverse engineer platform systems
  • Use GradeARC branding without permission

7. Subscription Terms

GradeARC may offer monthly and annual subscription plans.

By subscribing, you authorise recurring billing using your selected payment method.

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.

8. Annual Subscription Refund Policy

Annual subscriptions are billed in full upfront at the point of purchase.

By purchasing an annual subscription, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • The discounted annual price is provided in exchange for upfront commitment.
  • Annual subscription payments are non-refundable once processed.
  • Cancelling an annual subscription stops future renewals only.
  • Cancelling does not entitle you to a full or partial refund for the remaining subscription period.

This applies regardless of:

  • Usage levels
  • Exam outcomes
  • Dissatisfaction with AI outputs
  • Change of circumstances
  • Educational outcomes
  • Account inactivity

Nothing in these Terms affects statutory consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

9. Free Trials and Promotional Access

Free trials, promotional access, influencer accounts or complimentary subscriptions may be withdrawn or modified at any time.

We reserve the right to revoke access where abuse, misuse or fraudulent behaviour is suspected.

10. Account Suspension or Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts without notice where:

  • These Terms are breached
  • Fraudulent activity is suspected
  • The platform is abused
  • Excessive automated usage occurs
  • Payment disputes or chargebacks occur

We may also limit usage or remove features at our discretion.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • GradeARC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential or special damages.
  • GradeARC's total liability arising from platform use shall not exceed the amount paid by the user in the preceding 12 months.

This limitation applies whether claims arise in contract, negligence, tort, statutory duty or otherwise.

12. Third-Party Services

The platform may integrate with third-party systems including AI providers, payment processors, cloud hosting services and educational APIs.

We are not responsible for failures, outages or inaccuracies caused by third-party services.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time.

Continued use of the platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
